The Physical Theater Workshop is a space for exploration and acting training that emphasizes the body as the primary tool for stage expression. Unlike traditional theater, which often focuses on text and dialogue, physical theater tells stories and conveys emotions through movement, gestures, spatial awareness, and physical interaction between performers.
This workshop, designed by Andrea Vázquez Aguirre, offers an immersive experience integrating physical theater, dance, and gestural composition to develop stage presence, body awareness, and creative expression. It is ideal for both experienced artists and those looking to explore acting through a more sensory and expressive approach.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is designed for actors, dancers, performers, and stage artists, as well as anyone interested in discovering new ways of theatrical communication through movement. It is an excellent opportunity for those who want to enhance their expressiveness, improve spatial awareness, and enrich their body language on stage.
