🎭 CAMA PARA TR3S – An explosive tangle of laughter and madness!
Get ready for a comedy overflowing with humor, unexpected situations, and a love tangle that will have you laughing nonstop. CAMA PARA TR3S is a fresh and daring story that, amidst the laughs, speaks to us about loyalty, friendship, and the value of being yourself.
Carmen doesn’t have a problem… she has two! With a split personality that drives her crazy, she finds herself in love with two completely opposite men. Her conservative and reserved side longs for a passionate and fiery Mexican man, while her extroverted and seductive side falls for a young puritan with rigid customs. How can she choose between two such different worlds?
Desperate, Carmen seeks help from her best friend Ruly, but his advice—rather than solving the dilemma—unleashes a whirlwind of confusion, awkward encounters, and mishaps that will test the patience (and sanity) of everyone involved.

I have a Christ without a cross, and you have a cross without Christ.
The story begins in an antique shop in Seville, where Father Ramón bargains over the price of a broken wooden Christ. The image is missing the cross, half a leg, an entire arm, and its face. Apparently, it was desecrated during the Spanish Civil War. However, it is a fine work of art that deserves restoration.
Back at home, Father Ramón is surprised when the broken Christ forbids him from restoring it, and here begins the dialogue that will unfold throughout the play: The broken Christ does not want to be restored.
This play has been described as “a weekend spiritual retreat in two hours” and is perfect for reflection during Easter time. In this season of renewal and hope, My Broken Christ offers a unique opportunity to meditate on the true meaning of sacrifice, redemption, and solidarity with those most in need.
Physical Theater and Movement Workshop
Date: All Wednesdays – February, March, and April
Location: Carol Theater (8600 Westpark Dr STE 116, Houston, TX 77063)
The Physical Theater Workshop is a space for exploration and acting training that emphasizes the body as the primary tool for stage expression. Unlike traditional theater, which often focuses on text and dialogue, physical theater tells stories and conveys emotions through movement, gestures, spatial awareness, and physical interaction between performers.
This workshop, designed by Andrea Vázquez Aguirre, offers an immersive experience integrating physical theater, dance, and gestural composition to develop stage presence, body awareness, and creative expression. It is ideal for both experienced artists and those looking to explore acting through a more sensory and expressive approach.
