Término Medio
“A dark comedy of shipwrecks, power, and democracy”
📖 Synopsis
A cruise ship sinks in the middle of the sea, and a diverse group of survivors arrives on an unknown island. What begins as a desperate struggle for survival soon transforms into a comic, cruel, and absurd mirror of ourselves. Who rules? Who obeys? Who gets to keep the coconuts?
Amidst wet suitcases, coconuts, and bananas, the castaways will have to organize themselves to survive, at least until the next “election.” What seemed like a deserted island becomes a stage for political satire, where faith, power, ambition, and even TikTok unleash conflicts that are all too familiar to us.
🌟 What to expect…
Termino Medio is no ordinary play. It’s an irreverent and provocative show that combines dark comedy, absurdity, and sharp satire.
The audience will be immersed in a world where:
Survival merges with ambition.
Democracy is decided with banana and coconut leaves.
Absurd humor reveals uncomfortable truths about our present.
Each scene invites the audience to laugh at human and social shipwrecks, while reflecting on our own modern islands: polarization, power struggles, and the fragility of coexistence with one’s neighbor.
Come prepared to be surprised, to laugh, to be uncomfortable, and to recognize yourself in this unique theatrical mirror.
