A bilingual arts camp where children will develop creativity, confidence, verbal expression, teamwork, and performance skills through theater, play, and imagination.
Why This Camp?

Theater helps children develop emotional, social, and creative tools that strengthen their personal growth—both on and off the stage.
Over the course of three weeks, students will explore:
- Verbal and physical expression

- Public speaking confidence

Our approach combines artistic learning with fun activities, theater games, and creative exercises designed specifically for children.
What You Will Learn
A Creative, Safe, and Fun Space
Each student will participate in activities focused on:
Verbal Expression: Diction, voice projection, expressive reading, and confident communication.
Physical Expression: Movement, coordination, emotions, and stage presence.
Creativity and Visual Arts: Character creation, props, masks, and visual elements for the stage.
Acting Craft: Improvisation, character building, and collective creation.
Final Production: Students will work together to create and present a theatrical play.
Final Showcase
A Real Stage Experience
On the final Friday of the camp, students will present a special showcase open to family and friends.
This experience will allow them to:
- Strengthen their confidence
- Share what they have learned
- Experience a real stage
- Celebrate their creative process
The presentation will include:
- Original scenes
- Student recognition
- Group photos
- A closing celebration

Final Presentation: Friday of the third week at 7:00 PM (Special performance for family and friends)

Hannia Valle Rosales
Hannia Valle Rosales began her artistic training at an early age in ballet and theater, studying the American Ballet Theatre’s training curriculum as well as acting for film, theater, and television under renowned mentors such as Luis Felipe Tovar, Lolita Cortés, Juan Osorio, Aurelio Ávila, Salvador Sánchez, and Manuel Teil.
She has participated in theatrical productions across Mexico, Cuba, and the United States, appearing in various festivals and binational projects, including:
- Binational Project in Mercedes and McAllen, Texas
- Binational Theater Project in Cullman, Alabama
- International Book Fair in Cuba
- Border Theater Festival
- International Autumn Festival
- Mexico–United States Binational Encounters
She appeared in the short film *Las vías del recuerdo* (The Paths of Memory), directed by Luis Felipe Tovar, and competed in the Rafael Solana State Theater Contest with the play *No tocar* (Do Not Touch), which won first place in the Youth Theater category.
In Houston, she has distinguished herself in HAPAA productions such as:
- *Mitos y Rituales de lo Femenino* (Myths and Rituals of the Feminine)
- *Término Medio* (Middle Ground)
- *El Principito* (The Little Prince)
In the latter production, she initially portrayed the roles of The Flower and The Fox, and subsequently took on the lead role of The Little Prince.

REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Before Attending students must:
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Bring lunch and water
- Sign a liability waiver
- Provide proof of health insurance (if available)
No prior experience is required
This camp is designed for both children with an initial interest in theater and those who have previous artistic experience.

Does my child need prior experience?
No. The camp is designed for all skill levels.
Is the camp bilingual?
Yes. The program naturally integrates Spanish and English throughout the activities.
What should they bring daily?
Comfortable clothing, lunch, and water.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Partial payment options are available.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellations are subject to administrative fees, depending on the date of cancellation.
Will there be a final performance?
Yes. On the last Friday, a special showcase will be held for family and friends.
Is space limited?
Yes. Only 15 students will be accepted.
Cancellation Policy
- $50 USD fee for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the start date.
- 15% fee for cancellations made up to 7 days prior.
- 20% fee for cancellations made up to 24 hours prior.
- No refunds will be issued on the start date or after the camp has begun.
