Auditions:
HAPAA (Hispanic Alliance for Performing and Audiovisual Arts) is holding theater auditions in Houston for 2026, seeking actors and actresses over 18 years of age interested in participating in future professional theatrical productions.
The casting call will take place at the Carol Theater, a performance space dedicated to the development of Latino and community theater in Houston, located at 8600 Westpark Dr, STE 116, Houston, TX 77063, on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You’ll need an appointment to audition.

Requirements:
Age: 18+
Language: Must be fluent in Spanish language (audition will be held in Spanish)
Experience: Preferred, but not required.
Bring resume or CV.
TESTING
Acting: Prepare a monologue, scene, or sketch of a maximum of 5 minutes in length on any topic, or download one of our scripts here. (Script for men) (Script for women)
Optional: Singing – Prepare a 1-minute excerpt of a musical theatre song and bring a backing track (No a cappella).
Optional: Dance – prepare a 1-minute choreography, bring your own music.
