Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved work returns to Houston! Enjoy “The Little Prince” with your family in this extraordinary production suitable for all ages, a spectacular show where color and fantasy will fill the stage!

Performances will be at the Carol Theater. Presented by the Hispanic Alliance for Performing and Audiovisual Arts.

Cast: Hannia Valle Rosales, Jesús Lira, Alessia Hidalgo, Alan Balderas, Andrea Torres, and Nardo Del Sol.

Hannia Valle Rosales

Hannia Valle Rosales (The Little Prince)

Hannia began her artistic training in ballet and theater at an early age, following the training curriculum of the American Ballet Theatre and acting for film, theater, and television with Luis Felipe Tovar, Lolita Cortés, Juan Osorio, Aurelio Avila, Salvador Sánchez, and Manuel Teil, among others. She has participated in theater productions in Mexico, Cuba, and the United States at festivals such as: Binational Project in the district of Mercedes and McAllen, Texas, with the play “The Nutcracker,” Binational Theater Project in Cullman, Alabama, the short film “Las vía del recuerdo” directed by Luis Felipe Tovar, the International Book Fair in Cuba, the Border Theater Festival, the International Fall Festival, the Mexico-United States Binational Meetings, and the Rafael Solana State Theater Competition with the play “No tocar,” which won first place for youth theater. Her notable participation in the HAPAA production of “El Principito” (The Little Prince), where she debuted as La Flor y El Zorro (The Flower and the Fox), “Termino Medio”, and now in her debut as The Little Prince in our 2025 season

Jesus Lira (The Pilot + The Geographer)

Originally from Mexico, Jesús has over 15 years of acting experience, beginning with the theater group “Los mimos de siempre” presenting productions such as: “La que hubiera amado tanto” and ” Usted es la culpable” (The one who would have loved so much); which remained on the bill for over 6 months, touring in different venues throughout Mexico. In 2015 he moved to Houston, TX where he has worked with different theater groups presenting plays such as: “Bodas de sangre” (Blood Wedding), “13 y Martes” (13 and Tuesday), “Calavera con Calavera” (Skull with Skull), “Vaselina, the musical” “Termino Medio”, “El me mentio” (He Lied to Me), “Entre balcones” (Between Balconies), “El Principito” (The Little Prince), “Caja De Pandora” (Pandora’s Box), “CAMA PARA TR3S” (Bed for Three)

Alan Balderas (The King + Lamplighter)

Originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico. He made his theater debut in the play “The Wife Who Never Was” and has participated with different local theater groups in different plays such as “Grease” (Maktub Theater Group), “Blood Wedding” (Federico García Lorca), “The Talkers” (Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra), “Calavera con Calavera” by (Eddie Gonzalez), “The problem that arises is that…” (Gremio Colectivo), in addition to being part of the technical and production team at Maktub Theater Group. The Little Prince, Pandora’s Box, BED FOR THREE, and Termino Medio

Andrea Torres

Andrea Torres (Vain + Snake

Andrea received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater from Agnes Scott College. She has worked with several theater companies in Houston. Her most recent productions include: Massacre Sing to Your Children (The Alta Arts), Body of Christie (Stages), Don’t Quit (Teatrx), and Separating the Art (Cone Man Running Productions). And now Andrea is thrilled to be part of this new season of The Little Prince!

Nardo Del Sol

Nardo del Sol (Businessman)

Cuban-Mexican actor, singer, choreographer, producer, and artistic director, with a career spanning over 47 years in the performing arts. He graduated as a Primary School Teacher in 1978, obtained an Elementary Level degree in Music in 1989, trained as a Show, Theater, and Dance Producer in 2003, and as a Choreographer in 2005. Between 2011 and 2018, he completed eight diplomas in executive business skills, consolidating his profile as a well-rounded artist and cultural manager. His career spans theater, music, and dance, excelling in both creation and artistic direction and production. In 2025, he joined the cast of the play Término Medio, and now in his debut as the Businessman in The Little Prince
